In such cases there is a possibility that the patient may suffer a sudden chest pain due to low or no flow of blood in the streams which causes cardiac arrest.

Whenever a patient goes through an excruciating pain in the chest, while having numbness at the left side of the upper body it is advisable to diagnose the same immediately.

ECG, Troponin blood test can be done to evaluate the same. Further if needed the patient can be taken up for angiography, angioplasty / complex angioplasty, or PAMI (primary angioplasty in myocardial infarction)
